Dunbar - Bill Hanney Deck reduction - SE90 - 1817 Attachments:BillHanney29.revised decksiteplan2021-01-13.pdf; BILLHANNEY.29.9.9.19.SITEPLAN.FINAL.pdf; CCE000028.pdf Hi Noelle and Victor, I attach a revised site plan and the copy of the approved plan. Mr. Hanney is proposing a reduction in the deck width from the 10 ft. on the site plan to 8 ft. width with a slight squaring off on the northwest. A red-marked plan shows the reduction of deck in red. The effect is an approx.. 50 s.f. reduction in deck area. Bill wanted me to send this out to make sure you’re both OK with the change. Not expansion but reduction. Please let me know if the change would require formal process. As was observed and discussed during our site visit on January 8, 2021, we would like to remove eight Black Locust located at the right and left sides of the house. The Black Locust trees in question each have significant structural defects. The trees in questions will require removal to mitigate the risk of failure and damage to the structure. Included with this correspondence are photos of the defects in the trees. Crawford Land Management will also be submitting a restoration plan and will be managing any associated mitigation for this tree removal and pruning project.
