AN ORDINANCE P~tO'HIBITING PARKING ON UNION
STREET IN THE VILLP;GE OF PLAIN'F'IELD, WILL
COUNTY,' 'IL'L'I'NO'IS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT. AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFTELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS in meeting
lawfully assembled as follows.:
SECTION l; That for the purposes of protecting the
health, safety, and welfare of the people of the Village of
Plainfield it is necessary that parking of automobiles or
other vehicles be restricted in certain instances.
SECTION 2: That the parking of any. vehicles of any kind or

nature is prohibited on Union Street~in the Village of Plainfield, ~a%
Wi11 County, Illinois,
SECTION 3: Invalidity. If any section or any portion thereof
of this Ordinance sha11 for any reason be held invalid, .such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion
of such section, or the remaining portions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4; Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and
publication as required by law. r~'
SECTION 5; This Ordinance sha11 be known as Ordinance No.~
PASSED this 16th day of March, A. D. 197.0.
