AUTHORIZING PURCHASING AGENT TO RE-ADVERTISE
BIDS TO SELL 1971 SNORKEL FIRE TRUCK
WHEREAS, the Fire Department no longer has use for the 1971 70 ff Snorkel Fire
Truck; and
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1999 by Resolution #99-55 bids to advertise to sell the
1971 Snorkel Fire Truck were authorized; and
WHEREAS, no bids were received on February 18, 1999 and it is in the best interest
of the Borough of Carteret to sell the 1971 Snorkel Fire Truck.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret does hereby authorize the Purchasing Agent to re- advertise bids
for the sale ora 1971 70 ff. Snorkel Fire Truck.
Adopted this 1st day of April, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 2, 1999.
