SWIMMING POOL ALERT

Dear Property Owner,
To ensure that a safe environment exists relative to both above
ground and in-ground swimming pools and spas, we would like to call
to your attention the following safety and environmental protections;
1) Do not use or occupy your pool until a Certificate has been
issued by the Building Department. This Certificate verifies that
all-important safety inspections have been satisfied which would
include structural, electrical, and gas (if applicable) components.
2) Maintain fencing, gates and ensure automatic pool covers are in
good working order.
3) The Town of Brewster has regulations regarding the draining or
partial draining of pools and spas which can be found in the
Brewster Town Code Chapter 115, Section 7. You will need to
contact the Department of Public Works before any drainage
takes place.
