Committee members present were Carol Appleton, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , George Carey ( Alternate ) , and Sara Provos (Senior Department Assistant) , Steven Bergquist, Patricia Busch, and Tom Turcketta were absent . VCO H - 11-20-169 Nicole and Steve Cole, 391 Main Street, Map 16 Lot 6 Fence ■ Owners Nicole and Steve Cole reviewed the plans with the committee . ■ There will be a 6 foot high fence with a 5 foot gate on the left side of the home and a 4 foot high fence on the right side of the home . ■ The committee discussed the following : Both the 6' and 4' fence will be stained a mahogany color . Slates on fence will be vertical . " spaces will be between the boards . Fences on both sides of the home will match . ■ Carol Appleton moved to approve as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H- 11-20476 Helga and Jeffrey Dyer, 41 Cahoon Road , Map 93 Lot 57 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Ms . Dyer attended the meeting for the continuance from the December 3 , 2020 meeting . ■ Mr. Martin Culik was present per the request of the homeowner. ■ No one from Vision Solar was present at this meeting . ■ Ms . Dyer noted that she had a concern that if the panels were moved to the rear of the home, it would not provide maximum energy production . ■ Committee members discussed the impact of leaving the panels on the front of the home . ■ Abutter letters were read into record by Sara Provos . ■ Per the request of the homeowner, the application will be continued to the January 25, 2021 meeting . ■ Carol Appleton moved to continue this application to January 25 , 2021 . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. t Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of January 11, 2021 Meeting H- 11-20-177 Jack and Nancy Drake, 200 Brier Lane, Map 48 Lot 45 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ No one from Vision Solar was present at this meeting . ■ Per the updated plans provided by Vision Solar, the panels from " MP4" have been moved to another location on the roof. ■ The committee discussed the application and felt that although no one from Vision Solar or the homeowners were at the meeting to discuss the application , the changes made by Vision Solar per plans with a revision date of 12/22/2020 satisfied the committees concerns from the December 3 , 2020 meeting . ■ George Carey moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H41-21-1 Christopher Nappi, 76 Stony Brook Road , Map 6 Lot 33 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Daniel Kelley, Construction Supervisor for Freedom Forever represented the homeowner . ■ Daniel Kelly reviewed the application of installing 10 roof mounted solar panels with the Committee . ■ George Carey moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H- 1-21-2 Jeffrey and Karyn Beedy, 23 Blueberry Pond Drive, Map 100 Lot 25 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Daniel Kelley, Construction Supervisor for Freedom Forever represented the homeowner . ■ Mr. Kelly discussed the installation of 15 roof mounted solar panels to the rear of the home with the Committee . ■ Sara Provos read into record an abutter letter from Josh and Debra Straughn . ■ Carol moved to accept as proposed . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. S41 213 Russell Bassett, 10 Bassett Lane, Map 78 Lot 44 Sign ■ The applicant was not present at the meeting . ■ Sara Provos read into record an abutter letter from Lauren Mason . { ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . j ■ Chairman Trabulsie indicated that the sign cannot have a gloss paint . ■ Carol moved to accept as proposed . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. i 2 Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of January 11, 2021 Meeting D- 1-21-5 Dana and Lauren Alexander, 2071 Main Street, Map 68 Lot 40 Demolish Shed ■ Peter Haig of Architectural Design along with the homeowners were present at the meeting . ■ Mr. Haig stated that the shed in the rear of the home is beyond repair at this time and the homeowners would like to remove the shed and replace it with something more functional ■ Chairman Trabulsie stated he did not see the historical significance of the shed . ■ George Carey moved as to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H - 1-21-8 Dana and Lauren Alexander, 2071 Main Street, Map 68 Lot 40 Addition and Relocate Barn ■ Peter Haig of Architectural Design along with the homeowners were present at the meeting . ■ Mr. Haig reviewed the project with the Committee . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Chairman Trabulsie commended the homeowners and Architect for maintaining the historical value of this home . ■ Carol moved to accept as proposed .
