Minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion by TCruse second
by Okones annroved as read- motion carried.
A4ayor Vahlsing gave a report on the meeting of the League of
Muncipalities to which he was a delegate-.
It was moved by Kruse second by Okones that the Oiling assessment
as prepared by the C]_erk be adopted, and tart a hearing of objections
be held on Oct 2nd 1944- ll4otion Carried.
It was moved by Luwe second bit Okones that the fo]_lo!ving bile s
as read be ordered paid, - Motion carried.

Resolution adopting Assessment for the Cost
of OILING STREETS.-
�e it resolved by the mouncil of the Town of tiYellsburg
Iowa; that, the proposed assessment for the cost of
oiling the f ollowing streets;h
Washing- Adams, Madison Jefferson, Monroe- Adams Co�.Z.ege
Hill Park- Madison College Hillnark- Wilson Ave. Second-
Thbrd- Foueth- Fifth- Sixth, Jackson Blvd Lincoln Ave, and
all the property abutting and adjacent to s��ch streets, and
to such benefits of oiling on the above streets, prepared
by the Clerk and on file in his office, and notice of which
was given alb_ persons liable for such assessment, be and the
same is hereby levied against the property in accordance with
such proposed assessment, and all such assessments not paid by
Nov 1st 1944 or 30 days after the passage of this Resolution
shall be certified txeby the Clerk to the County Auditor as
a special tax against the property. 2nd
