RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (The "Borough") was named a defendant
in a matter titled Radwan vs. Carteret Board of Education, et. al; and
WHEREAS, the Borough wishes to settle the matter in order to avoid continued
legal costs in defending the matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that settlement of the above described matter is authorized
in the amount of $1500.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to finally resolve the
matter and obtain a release and dismissal of the matter.
Adopted this 1 st day of April, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 2nd 1999.
