AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2012 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2012 on September 29th, 2011 with Ordinance 47-2011; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one
major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-
1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice
and without the approval of the Department of Local Government
Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that the 2012 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund — City Clerk
Delete $200.00 from Social Security
Account number 101.03.030.110.000.1220
2. Delete $98.00 from Medicare
Account number 101.03.030.110.000.1222
Delete $100.00 from Copier Charges
Account number 101.03.030.110.000.2120
4. Delete $100.00 from Office Supplies
Account number 101.03.030.110.000.2130
Delete $100.00 from General Supplies
Account number 101.03.030.110.000.2410
6. Add $598.00 to Litigation
Account number 101.03.030.110.000.3121

Richmond, Indiana.
