While health concerns in light of the COVID-19 pandemic have led to limits on public gatherings, essential business
must continue. Adjustments have been made to respect Governor Holcomb’s executive orders, while still providing
community participation, as outlined in the City's announcement on March 18th. As a critical function of City
government, City Common Council will continue.
Meetings with a public comment and/or hearing component will be held via a teleconferencing webinar to ensure
the health and safety of everyone while allowing for public input and engagement. Below are the guidelines for
those wishing to submit public comment to any Common Council agenda items.
Public Comment: There are two ways to submit your comments to the Richmond City Common Council for the
open public comments or for individual agenda items.
Submit your comments by noon of day of the meeting via email to the Clerk at kchasteen@richmondindiana.gov.
Please indicate which agenda item you are commenting on.
Comments during the meeting will be handled by telephone and will be subject to the usual per person time limit.
Call one of the phone numbers below and wait for the instruction to dial the meeting ID 993 4418 1964. It will ask

please hang up so the line is free for others to join and comment. You may call in again if you wish to comment on
