A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PREPARE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR WASTE
HAULING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the current waste hauling contract is set to expire October 31, 2013;
and
WHEREAS, to provide minimal disruption to waste hauling services it is prudent
to commence the request for proposal process.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the Waste
Services Contract Ad Hoc Committee including the City Attorney, staff person and
anyone the Waste Services Contract Ad Hoc Committee feels should be involved
preparing the Request for Proposals for waste hauling services.
Section 2. The Waste Service Contract Ad Hoc Committee will present the
Request for Proposals for Waste Hauling Services to the City Council within 90 -day.
Section 3. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of March, 2013.
