THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, MONDAY, JANUARY 7, 2002
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session at 7:45 p.m. Monday,
January 7, 2002, in the Council Chambers in said City. President Karl Sharp presided with the following
Councilmembers present: Howard "Jack" Elstro, Etta Lundy, Bruce Wissel, Karl Sharp, Bing Welch, Phil
Dickman, and Sarah "Sally" Hutton. Paul Combs was absent. The following business was conducted:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
President Sharp asked for nominations for offices of President and Vice president of the Common Council
for 2000.
Councilmember Parker nominated Councilmember Wissel as President, second by Councilmember
Dickman. Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed, second by Councilmember Dickman
and Councilmember Wissel was elected President by an acclamation vote.
Councilmember Dickman nominated Councilmember Welch as Vice President, second by Councilmember
Wissel. Councilmember Sharp moved the nominations be closed, second by Councilmember Dickman and
Councilmember Welch was elected Vice President by an acclamation vote.
CALL FOR ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed; the meeting was adjourned.
