AN flF~DTNANCE ,MENDING ORDINANCE
N0. 403 flF THE VILLAGE OF PLAIN- ~~.~ ~
FIELD, WILL COUNTY, TLLINOTS
WHEREAS, a public hearing was advertised and. he 1.d in accordance
with the statutes of the State of 111inois in such case made and Pro-
vided and the provisions of said Ordinance No. 4Q3 of said Village of
Plainfield on thy: f ol~.owing proposed amendments to said Ordinance, to-
wn:
1. Amending Sect~.an 1 of said Ordinance by adding thereto the
following;
"a11 permits shall be void from and after six
months from the date td~iereof"
2, By adding after Section 11 of said Ordinance the f ollawing;
"Section lla. Rear Yard Requirements: When the
rear line of a cornea olot abuts the side line of
an abutting plot, an open space or rear yard
at least 10 feet wide along the rear line of the
corner building plot which is a side line of the.
abutting plot shall be provided and preserved and
no building of a.ny kind shall be erected thereon;
provided, however, this rear yard requirement shall.
not apply to an incidental ar accessory building laca-
ted more than 50 feet back of the required setback
line on the side road or street" and,
WHEREAS, no written protest to said proposed amendments were
filed and,
WHEREAS, said Zoning Commission has heretofore Filed a report
of its acts and doings in the premises and of its recommendations
as to said amendments and.,
WH~.~HEAS, said Zoning Commission in said report recommends that
said. amendments be adopted a:nd that an ordinance be passed making
said proposed ,amendments a part of said Zoning Ordinance.

THL7STEES OF TH.i~ VILLAGE OF PL.~4.TNFTELD, WILL COUNTX, ILLINOIS:
Section l: That. Section 1 of said grdinance No, 403 of the
Village of Plainfield, 1s~ill County, Illinois, entitled "An Ordi-~
Hance Requiring .Permits for Buildings, Structures and Uees,

Dividing the Village into Districts, Specifying Minimum Lot Sizes,
Set Sacks and. Side Yards, i3egul~,ti:ng the Bulk of Buildings, Providing
for Appeals and Imposing Penalties", of which this Ordinance is
amendatory, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
"all permits shall be void from and after
six months From the date thereof"
Section 2: ~1'hat said Ordinance No. 4Q3 of the Village of
Plainfield be and the same is hereby amended by adding after Section
ll of said Ordinance the following:
"Section. lla. Rear Yard Requirements: When the
rear line of a corner plot abuts the side line of
an abutting plot, an open space or rear ,yard
at least 10 feet wide along the rear line of the

Section This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and approval.
