THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA,MONDAY,JANUARY 8,2001
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session at 7:25 p.m. Monday,
January8,2001, in the Council Chambers in said City. President Larry Parker presided with the following
Councilmembers present: Howard "Jack" Elstro, Bruce Wissel, Karl Sharp, Bing Welch, Phil Dickman,
Paul Combs and Sarah"Sally"Hutton.Etta Lundy was absent.The following business was conducted:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
President Parker asked for nominations for offices of President and Vice president of the Common Council
for 2000.
Councilmember Wissel nominated Councilmember Sharp as President,second by Councilmember Combs.
Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Dickman and
Councilmember Sharp was elected President by an acclamation vote.
Councilmember Dickman nominated Councilmember Wissel as Vice President,second by Councilmember
Welch.Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Combs and
Councilmember Wissel was elected Vice President by an acclamation vote.
CALL FOR ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
