THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA,TUESDAY,JANUARY 4,2000
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday,
January 4, 2000, in the Council Chambers in said City. President Bing Welch presided with the following
Councilmembers present: Howard "Jack" Elstro, Etta Lundy, Phil Dickman, Sarah "Sally" Hutton, Paul
Combs,Karl Sharp,Bruce Wissel and Larry Parker.The following business was conducted:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
President Welch asked for nominations for offices of President and Vice president of the Common Council
for 2000.
Councilmember Sharp nominated Councilmember Parker as President,second by Councilmember Wissel
and Councilmember Dickman moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Combs and
Councilmember Parker was elected President by an acclamation vote.
Councilmember Wissel nominated Councilmember Sharp as Vice President,second by Councilmember
Combs and Councilmember Dickman moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Parker
and Councilmember Sharp was elected Vice President by an acclamation vote.
CALL FOR ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
