RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENT IN
CONNECTION WITH NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BROWNFIELD FUNDING
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the"Borough") is currently seeking to
develop certain "brownfields" in connection with its Waterfront Development
Project; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection CNJDEP")
offers to assist municipalities in the development of "brownfields"; and
WHEREAS, the Borough wishes to take advantage o£the NJDEP fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute an application and proposal for NJDEP brownfield funding in connection with
the Borough's Waterfront Project.
Adopted this 15th day of April, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 16, 1999.
