1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session at 7:25 p.m. Monday,Janu ry
2 6, 1997, in the Council Chambers in said City. President Geneva "Gene" Allen presided with the follodng
3 Councilmembers present: Howard "Jack" Elstro, Etta Lundy, Bruce Wissel, Sarah "Sally" Hutton, Ro ert
4 Dickman,Alan Stamper, Bing Welch and Larry Parker. The following business was had to-wit:

8 President Allen asked for nominations for the offices of President and Vice-President of the Corn on
9 Council for 1997.

11 Councilmember Wissel nominated Councilmember Dickman as President, second by Councilmem er
12 Stamper and Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed, second by Councilmember Lu l dy
13 and the motion to elect Councilmember Dickman as President was carried on a unanimous voice vote.

15 Councilmember Dickman nominated Councilmember Wissel as Vice President, second by Councilmember
16 Stamper and Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed, second by Councilmember Lu dy
17 and the motion to elect Councilmember Wissel as Vice President was carried on a unanimous voice vote.
