A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL
FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) DISTRICT TO INTENSE MULTIPLE -FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL (M2) DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 2507 Chester
Boulevard and legally described as follows, to wit:
See Exhibit "A"
as a General Commercial (GC) District; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the above described real estate's zoning designation to an Intense
Multiple -family Residential (M2) District in order to allow the development of a student
housing complex for Indiana University East.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to an Intense Multiple -family
Residential (M2) District.
Passed and adopted this/ day of 2012, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
