RESOLUTION NO. 2016-068
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA
DEVELOPMENT (PAD) APPLICATIONS
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin wants to implement changes to the City
Zoning Code relating to Planned Area Developments within the City; and,
Whereas, the City Council feels it necessary to extend the moratorium for further
research the necessary changes to accepting new PAD applications, effective
November 16, 2016 - January 17, 2017, to allow the City more time to review its
procedures relating to Planned Area Developments and draft a new PAD Ordinance.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
moratorium regarding PAD applications be extended until January 17, 2017, with
approval of this resolution.
On the 15th day of November, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016-068, A
RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA
DEVELOPMENT (PAD) APPLICATIONS made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Kahler
Nays:
Absent: Ryan
Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2016-068, A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE
MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD)
APPLICATIONS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 15th day of November, 2016.
