Whitley Reynolds, advised the City of Tybee had referred him to me for clarification of asbuilt information needed. Whitley informed me the Engineer, Mark Boswell had advised hime he had completed his work on this project. This confuses me as I thought that asbuilts would be verified for compliance to the design by the Owner's Engineer. Please clarify this to me. I did provide the following clarification to Whitley on the information that should be shown on the asbuilts. 1) Show the location, top elevation and invert elevation of all drainage inlet structures. To date Boswell has not been able to provide locations of the two structures closest to 17th Place ROW. 2) Show the sizes of all storm lines. This system is a subsurface retention syste. If the aslbuilt survey, sealed and signed by Whitley, of this System shows the storage capacity shown on the design plans has been provided, I will be able to sign off on this project. These plans were designed by another engineering firm and we are performing the inspection as a courtesy. After a field inspection, it was determined that a minimum of 154 If of 15" dia. pipe was installed. The plans call for 148 If of 15° dia. pipe. Also, it was observed that all seven inlets were installed at the locations shown on the plans. The proposed development will comprise of one structure. This development will have a parking area underneath the house with a stone /gravel driveway to the street. 2. This property has a total impervious area of .074 acres, which includes the building area. The remainder of the property will be pervious surfaces (grass). 3. The time of concentration for the pre - developed condition and the post - developed condition was derived by using the chart provided in the "Manual for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control in Georgia ". We have provided the post - developed runoff discharge quantity total. The amount of new impervious areas was the difference in pre - developed and post development. 4. Storm water detention will be provided within the site area in 15" perforated pipes.
