RESOLUTION NO. 2016-078
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR THE HUNT
CLUB SENIOR LIVING LC
Whereas, Hunt Club Senior Living LC, is requesting a 10-year, 50% property tax
abatement; and,
Whereas, the Hunt Club Senior Living LC, would complement the Hunt Club LLC,
residential housing project; and,
Whereas, the City has previously approved a property tax abatement for Hunt Club
LLC.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City of Tiffin
will approve a 10-year, 50% Property Tax Abatement for the Hunt Club Senior Living LC
project pending the inclusion into the Urban Revitalization Area..
On the 6t" day of December, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016-078, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING A PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR THE HUNT CLUB SENIOR
LIVING LC, and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Upton.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan,
Nays: None.
Absent: Kahler.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2016-078, A RESOLUTION APPROVING A
PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR THE HUNT CLUB SENIOR LIVING LC, to be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 6t" day of December, 2016.
