V ffH MEDICARE PLANS,
DOES ff MATTER VVHICH
PHARMACY YOU USE?
Forman Medicare plans, the pharmacy
you use could make a big difference in
the cost of your drugs!
All Medicare drug plans and Medicare
Advantage plans (HMOs, PPOs) have
network pharmacies. Most pharmacies
accept most plans. However, if you go to a
pharmacy that is not in your plan's
network, your drugs will not be covered,
and you will pay full retail price.
For 2018, there are 22 Medicare drug plans
and all of them have preferred pharmacies.
In addition, several Medicare Advantage
plans also have a preferred pharmacies. By
using a preferred pharmacy, you may save
money! Please note that there are
significant changes to preferred networks
this year across all plans. A plan and/or
pharmacy that worked well for you last year
may not be the best option for 201811 You
should check that the pharmacy you
currently use is the best one to use with
your plan. REMINDER: Many plans have
made changes to their premiums,
deductibles, co -pays, and the drugs that are
covered. Now is the time to review your
options and make a change for 2018.Open
Enrollment ends December 7. Call today to
speak with a SHINE counselor (617) 972-
6490.

WHERE: Senior Center, 31 Marshall Street
Join us to discuss The Age of Innocence by Edith
Wharton. Copies of the book are
available at the Watertown Free Public
Library. The Age of Innocence centers
on an upper-class couple's impending
marriage, and the introduction of the
bride's cousin, plagued by scandal,
whose presence threatens their
happiness. Though the novel questions the
assumptions and morals of 1870s New York
society, it never develops into an outright
condemnation of the institution. The novel is
noted for Wharton's attention to detail and its
accurate portrayal of how the 19th-century East
Coast American upper class lived, and the social
tragedy of its plot.
