RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AUCTION OF
ENGINEERING PLOTTER
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") is the owner of an
engineering plotter; and
WHEREAS, said engineering plotter has been determined to be no longer needed
by the Borough: and
WHEREAS, the Borough wishes to offer the engineering plotter for sale to the
public by auction
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Borough's Chief Financial Officer, or his designee, shall
be authorized and directed to offer for sale at auction to the general public the
Borough Engineering Plotter:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said auction shall be held at a time and place
to be determined by the Borough's Chief Financial Officer and advertised in
accordance with statute.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the minimum bid shall be $ 2,000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon completion of the auction the Chief
Financial Officer, Mayor and Municipal Clerk are authorized to execute such
documents as are necessary to transfer title to the successful bidder.
Adopted this 15th day of April, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the original
on April 16, 1999.
