U.N.C.L.E. Napoleon Solo suc-
cessfully helps Gaby

Germany despite
opposition of KGB
agent Illya Kuryakin.
Later, all three unexpectedly find
themselves working together in a
joint mission to stop a private
criminal organization from using
Gaby's father's scientific exper-
tise to construct their own nucle-
ar bomb. All three must find a
way to cooperate for the sake of
world peace, even as they each
pursue their own agendas. Cast:

7/14 The Lady In The Van - The
Lady in the Van tells the true
story of Alan Bennett's strained
friendship with Miss Mary Shep-
herd, an eccentric
homeless woman <<xnYvtuv
whom Bennett be-
friended in the -
1970s before allow-
ing her temporarily
to park her van in
his driveway. She stayed there
for 15 years. He learns that Miss
Shepherd was a former gifted
pupil of the pianist Alfred Cortot.
She had played Chopin in a
promenade concert, tried to be-
come a nun, was committed to
an institution, escaped, had an
accident for which she believed
herself to blame, and thereafter
lived in fear of arrest. Cast:

Broadbent 2015 PG-13 104 mins

widower with heart trouble, and
proud of having pushed his adult
children toward suc-

orders, he decides
to surprise each
with a visit. He sets
out to see his artist son, his
daughter the ad exec, his son
the conductor on tour, and his
daughter who's a performer.
None are as he imagines or
hopes. Will they let him see
themselves as they are, and can
this dad adapt? Cast: Robert

7/28 Hello My Name Is Doris -
Doris Miller has just lost her
mother and reason for living.
She isn't sure what to do now,
stuck in a job and spending her
nights with her friend Roz and
Vivian. One day she sees John
and everything
changes. She falls SALLY

in love with him FIELD
and wants to find
the courage to talk
to him. Little by
little she opens up
and finds her confidence. This
movie deals with an older woman
trying to pursue a younger man.
You feel sorry for her but not to
the point of pity, and really root
for her but also cringe a few
times at her actions. This is a
funny and moving romantic com-
edy, but it deals more with self-
discovery than the pursuit of love
itself. Cast: Sally Fields, Max

When Can You Enroll in a Medigap Plan?
Medigap plans are health insurance plans that provide extra protection beyond Medicare by
filling in some of the "gaps" in Medicare coverage. In Massachusetts, these plans allow contin-
uous open enrollment. You must have Medicare A and B to enroll, and cannot be enrolled in a
Medicare Advantage plan. Anyone who is eligible may enroll or change plans or coverage lev-
els at any time, with changes effective the first of the following month. Note that Medigap pol-
icies do not cover prescription drugs, which are covered separately under Medicare Part D.
In Massachusetts, seven insurers offer the same two Medigap plans, Core and Supplement 1.
The Core plan pays some of the co -pays for Medicare covered services, while the Supplement
covers all the deductibles and co -pays for these services. This means that a Medigap policy will
generally pay only when Medicare approves payment. With a Medigap policy, you are free to choose
any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare and you do not need referrals to see a specialist.
For assistance with choosing a Medigap plan or any Medicare issue, contact the SHINE Pro-
gram. Trained SHINE volunteers offer free, confidential counseling on all aspects of Medicare
and related health insurance programs. To schedule a SHINE appointment, call your local
Senior Center. For other SHINE related matters, call 1-800-AGE-INFO (1-800-243-4636), then
press or say 3. Once you get the SHINE answering machine, leave your name and number. A
volunteer will call you back, as soon as possible.
