With the Fall season in full swing and students back to school and the weather starting to turn, we are
reminded of other changes, such as those that come with Medicare Open Enrollment. I hope you have
been watching your mail for important notices and if you have any questions about your health plan or
drug coverage, please call us to schedule a free appointment with one of our SHINE counselors. They
are experts in navigating the Medicare maze for you.
Speaking of changes, we had a wonderful celebration for our retired Senior Shuttle driver Joe
Cavallaro and express our sincere thanks to him for his service. Our new driver, Jim Cunningham, is
now on staff and is becoming more familiar with the routes each day. Please be patient with him and
the schedule.
This issue offers a new feature "Case Worker Corner" written by our newly -licensed social worker,
Marina Kirsanova. Do not hesitate to call her for advice and assistance and remember to join us for Flu

Falls are the leading cause of injury and accidental death in adults over the age of
65. Many falls can be prevented. By making some changes, you can lower your
chances of falling. Clutter and other tripping hazards, poor balance, and distractions
y can all cause a person to stumble and fall. Here are some falls prevention tips.
Exercise to improve your balance and strength,
Have your health care provider review your medicines,
Have your vision checked,
Remove clutter in your home, and walk carefully.
P.S. We are starting to process applications for Fuel Assistance for 2016-2017.
Please call Marina for information and eligibility.

Join us to discuss Intent To Kill by James
Grippano.
Copies of the book are available at the Water-
town Free Public Library. Ryan James's prom-
ising baseball career was derailed before it
even got started when a hit-and-run driver
killed his wife Chelsea, leaving Ryan alone to
care for their beautiful little girl. Now, three
years later, he's a popular sports radio host in
Boston, still haunted by a tragic crime that was
never solved. But on the anniversary of Chel-
sea's death, Ryan receives a chilling message
from an anonymous tipster: "I know who did
it."
The shocking revelation may have come from
Chelsea's brother, Babes, a young man suffer-
ingfrom an autism -related disorder, and it sets
Ryan on a twisted path toward a shattering
truth. Suddenly what really happened that aw-
ful night threatens to irreparably alter the lives
of Ryan and Babes, and dedicated prosecutor
Emma Carlisle, if they can survive the wrath of
the powerful ... and the deadly.
OUR SOLDIERS NEED YOUR LETTERS!
