RESOLUTION.APPROVING FIREWORKS
FOR CARTERET'S INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL,
LATIN FESTIVAL & ETHNIC DAY FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believe that having a
fireworks display at the Independence Day Festival, the Latin Festival and the Ethnic Day
Festival would be an enjoyable way to enhance the event and an appropriate symbol of
community pride; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks at an event it is
necessary for the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Appropriate Borough
Officials are hereby authorized to execute the documents that may be necessary to obtain
any and all permits to facilitate "Carteret's Independence Day Festival, Latin Festival and
Ethnic Day Festival" fireworks displays.
Adopted this 21 day of May, 2015
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 22, 2015.
