PROCEEDINGS OF A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE ®MMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA AUGUST 26,1985
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in Special Session
2 August 26, 1985 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in -the Council Chambers in said
3 City. President Williams presided with the following Councilpersons present:
4 Councilmember Elstro, Hankinson, Whitesell, Parker, Bodiker, Lemoine and
5 Morris. Absent: Brookbank. The following business was had to-wit:

9 Ordinance No. 69-1985-AN ORDINANCE FOR APPROPRIATIONS AND TAX RATES.

11 Councilmember Elstro med to suspend the rules and read Ordinance No. 69-
12 1985 on third and final reading by title only, seconded by Councilmbmber
13 Morris and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

15 The Clerk read on third and final reading by title only Ordinance No. 69-
16 1985 - AN ORD3INANCE FOR APPROPRIATIONS AND TAX RATES.

18 Ms. Maness presented the Council with corrected pages for their copy of
19 Ordinance No. 69-1985 reflecting cuts the Council had made.

21 President Williams thanked the Mayor and City personnel for the time and
22 effort spent':on the budget.

24 Ordinance No. 69-1985 was adopted onthe following call of the roll:

26 Ayes - Elstro, Whitesell, Parker, Lemoine, Morris and Williams (6)

28 Nays - Hankinson and Bodiker (2)

30 There being no further business to come before the Council at this time the
31 meeting was adjourned.
