RE: Agenda Item - Transfer of Funds Request
As you are aware, the Honorable Town Council adopted the attached Ordinance 2017-88 amending
the Fiscal Year 2017 compensation of the Town Auditor at the December 12, 2017 Town Council
Meeting.
The amended compensation needs to be adjusted in the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget. Therefore, I
respectfully request the attached transfer be placed on the January 9, 2018 Town Council Agenda for
your consideration

Susan G.Falkoff, 2-8,subsection C,provides the mechanism to adjust the Town Auditor's annual salary amount
Councilor At Large as may from time to time be provided for such office by Ordinance:

Councilor At Large NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED: That the Town Council of the City known as the
Town of Watertown adjusts the Town Auditor's salary as follows:
Angeline B.Kounelis,
District A Councilor Effective July 1,2016(Fiscal Year 2017),the salary shall be set at$107,862(3.75%increase).
