Pi finds himself on a lifeboat with only some zoo animals for company. Pi, the son of a zookeeper survives a shipwreck by stowing away on a lifeboat with a zebra, an orangu- tan, a hyena, jand a Bengal tiger by the name of Richard Parker. Older adults find it especially ap- pealing because the move- ments are low impact and put ` minimal stress on muscles and joints. Although Tai Chi's best documented health effect is its ability to improve balance, it can also reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve strength and increase energy. Medicare beneficiaries should know the following: • The health insurance exchanges are for people without health insurance, and not for Medicare beneficiaries. • Beneficiaries who have Medicare Part A and B meet the requirement for health insurance. • Medicare supplement plans (Medigaps), are not sold in the health insurance exchanges. • In most cases, it is illegal to sell health insurance exchange policies to Medicare beneficiaries. • People with Medicare do not need to re -enroll or get new Medicare cards. Trained SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Everyone ... on Medicare) volunteers can help you! They offer free, confidential counseling on all aspects of health insurance to anyone on Medicare. Think flowers! Think spring! Birds and bees are active, buds are popping, and our world becomes green again. Let's gather together to enjoy colorful images of this beautiful season. Join wildlife photographer Carole Smith Berney for a celebration: of the greening of our world, the unfurling of buds into leaves and flowers, birds raising their young, turtles laying eggs, and folks out along the river celebrating the renewal of life. Witness up close how some communities celebrate the season with special ceremonies and colorful puppet parades honoring Earth Day. Carole Smith Berney has received numerous grants and awards related to her wildlife photography, nature writing for children, and local advocacy efforts with the Friends of the Watertown Riverfront. Her multimedia shows about the river and exhibits focus- ing on nature in general and animals in particular have earned her a local following, as the pied piper of the river walk.
