SPECIAL MEETING
PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, AUGUST 24, 1981
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in special session
2 August 24, 1981 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the
3 Municipal Building in said City. President Mills presided with the follow-
4 ing members present: Messrs. Elstro, Williams, Ahaus, Hankinson, Welch,
5 Parker, Carter and Paust. Absent: None. The following business was had,
6 to-wit:

10 AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 51-1981

12 Councilman Welch moved to suspend the rules and read Amended Ordinance No.
13 51-1981 on third and final reading by title only, seconded by Councilman
14 Williams and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

16 The Clerk read on third reading by title only Amended Ordinance No. 51-1981
17 - AN ORDINANCE FOR APPROPRIATIONS AND TAX RATES.

19 Amended Ordinance No. 51-1981 was adopted by the following vote:
20 AYES: Elstro, Williams, Ahaus, Hankinson
21 Welch, Parker, Paust, Mills (8)
22 NOES: Carter (1)

24 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE CANCELLATION

26 Chairman of the Committee of the Whole Rick Ahaus announced the previously
27 called Committee meeting for next Monday, August 31, has been cancelled
28 until further notice, probably sometime in September.

32 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed
33 the meeting was adjourned.
