• REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD
APRIL 18, 2013
The regular meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood was held on
Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted as

prescribed by the Brown Act.
• CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:08 p.m. by Chairperson Esparza. Roll call
was taken by A. J. Lopez III, Director of HR & Risk Management.
Commissioner Attendance:
Present— Esparza, Battle, Espinoza, Robinson; and Bradley
Absent— None
Staff Present:

Led by Commissioner Robinson.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The motion was made by Commissioner Robinson and seconded by Commissioner
Espinoza to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of March 21, 2012. All in
favor. Motion carried.
A.J. Lopez III informed the Board that in reference to item number one in the
minutes, he will be working along with Brenda Diederichs, Board's.legal advisor to
bring back to the Board a recommendation at their next regular meeting.

CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE, DISMISSAL, RELEASE
The Board went into closed session at 5:10pm.
The Board reported out of closed session at 5:32 pm. The motion was made by
Commissioner Robinson and seconded by Commissioner Bradley to declare the
appellant as failure to appear- no show.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Robinson made the motion to adjourn and Chairperson Esparza
seconded. The meeting adjourned at 5:32 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried.
