Delvena Theater presents.... Salem Witch Hysteria
Watch history come alive with these fascinating dramatizations of the true
stories of the Salem Witch Hysteria. The setting is Salem, Massachusetts
in 1692, a year in which, of the approximate 168 men and women accused
of practicing witchcraft, 20 were executed. Let's see how things go in
2014 when the audience members become the jury in the trial of Susannah
Martin. They will have the opportunity to question the defendant and form
their own opinion as to her guilt or innocence. The cast will open up again
to the audience after the performance for a lively discussion.

to discuss Look Again by Lisa Scottolineh.
Copies of the book are available at the Water-

Here is a briefsynopsis of the book:: When
reporter Ellen Gleeson
gets a "Have You Seen
I.ls t This Child?" flyer in the
5tar1`I r r.la1 mail, she almost throws it
away. But something
about it makes her look
again, and her heart
stops —the child in the
photo is identical to her
adopted son, Will. Her
every instinct tells her to
i°' deny the similarity, be-
cause she knows her
adoption was lawful. But
she's a journalist and won't be able to stop think-
ing about the photo until she figures out the truth.
And she can't shake the question: if Will rightfully
belongs to someone else, should she keep him
or give him up? She investigates, uncovering
clues and when she digs too deep, she risks los-
ing her own life —and that of the son she loves.
