Committee members present were Carol Appleton, Steven Bergquist, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ), Tom Turcketta , George Carey (Alternate ) , and Sara Provos (Senior Department Assistant) , Patricia Busch was absent . H41-20476 Helga and Jeffrey Dyer, 41 Cahoon Road , Map 93 Lot 57 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Samantha Angeline from Vision Solar attended the meeting for the continuance from the January 11, 2021 meeting . ■ Chairman Trabulsie specified that this application was to install a total of 16 Roof Mounted Solar Panels . ■ Vision Solar agreed to remove five ( 5 ) panels from the front of the roof and place them on the rear of the roof. ■ The homeowner Ms . Dyer stated that she was agreeable with this proposal . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to approve as presented per plans with a revision date of December 8, 2020 , Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . F H- 1-21- 11 Russell Crosby 54 Western Eagle Cartway Single Family Dwelling i ■ Homeowner and contractor Jamie Pate were present at the meeting . � ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Tom Turcketta asked the contractor to verify the exposure on the clapboard and recommended that there only be a 4" exposure . Mr. Pate was agreeable to this . ■ Steven Bergquist noted that the drawings showed the header as being uneven . Mr. Pate stated that would be corrected and it would be level all the way across . • Gable ends will be shingled . ■ New dwelling will be built next to the existing foundation and additional grading will be done to meet the required 18" exposure . ■ Existing foundation will be covered with a deck . I I 1 i i Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of January 25, 2021 Meeting ■ Mr. Crosby noted that the existing foundation will be covered with lattice on the sides as well as include landscaping to cover up as much of the existing foundation as possible . ■ Although the plans show solar panels, solar panels are not part of this application and the homeowner understands he would have to come back to the committee if he were to plan to install roof mounted solar panels . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H- 1-2142 2771 Main Street Gable roof and siding ■ Saumil Patel represented himself and discussed the project to include a gable roof over the main entrance as well as including a brick veneer siding on the right side, lower half of the building . ■ Although the roof is listed as black on this application , the original application # 1-1 -419 -57 stated grey . ■ Mr . Patel would like the entire roof as well as the gable roof over the main entrance grey . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to approve as proposed . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. January 11, 2021 Meeting Minutes ■ Carol Appleton moved to approve as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. Ocean Edge Nickerson House ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that several Boards and Committees are writing letters in support of the project Ocean Edge is presenting to the Zoning Board of Appeals relative to the Nickerson House , The HDC approved this project via Application # H -3 - 20-37 . Chairman Trabulsie asked if j the HDC would be in agreement to sending a letter on behalf of all members to the Zoning Board of Appeals to show support for this project .
