SPECIAL MEETING
PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, MARCH 13, 1978
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special
2 session March 13, 1978 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
3 in the Municipal Building in said City. President Austerman presided with
4 the following members present: Messrs. Elstro, Williams, Ahaus, Carter,
5 Mills, Paust, and Welch. Absent: Merchanthouse. The following business
6 was had, to-wit:

8 A moment of silent devotions was observed.

10 President Austerman..announced the purpose of this special meeting was to
11 consider Resolution No. 8-1978 concerning Economic Development Commission
12 of Richmond and Johnson Sheet Metal.

14 Councilman Mills moved to suspend the rules and read Resolution No. 8-1978
15 by title only, seconded by Councilman Carter and on unanimous voice vote
16 the motion was carried.

18 The Clerk read by title only Resolution No. 8-1978 - A RESOLUTION OF THE
19 CITY OF RICHMOND TO INDUCE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF RICHMOND TO ACQUIRE
20 AND COMPLETE THE CONSTRUCTION AND ERECTION OF AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
21 FACILITY, AND TO UNDERTAKE TO SELL AND DELIVER REVENUE BONDS TO PAY THE
22 COSTS THEREOF, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.

24 Speaking for Resolution No. 8-1978 were Mr. Andrew Cecere, Attorney, and
25 Mr. G. Scott Hull, President of Johnson Sheet Metal.

27 Councilman Mills moved for adoption of Resolution No. 8-1978, seconded
28 by Councilman Paust and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

30 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and
31 passed the meeting was adjourned.
