Entity Name Request Dear Mr. Wallace and Members of the Planning Board: As you are aware, the Brewster Planning Board voted on January 13, 2021 to approve Application #2021-01 pertaining to the development of a 1113 kW AC solar canopy at the Captains Golf Course. The applicant for this submission was listed as Distributed Solar Development, LLC (DSD). It was recently noted to DSD in its project funding review that the applicant entity should be Freemans Way Solar Project 2019, LLC. The Town communicated to DSD via email on February 22, 2021 that Brewster Town Counsel is offering a letter appended to the January 13th Decision that the Decision is valid for Distributed Solar Development, LLC, Freemans Way Solar Project 2019, LLC and related and/or successor entities approved by the Brewster Select Board. Based on procedural guidance from the Brewster Planning Department, DSD is requesting that the Planning Board vote on the approval of an entity letter (as noted above) appended to the January 13th Decision at its meeting on February 24, 2021. If approved, DSD will record the letter drafted by Brewster Town Counsel and the January 13th Decision at the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds prior to the issuance of a building permit.
