SPECIAL MEETING
III PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 2, 1978
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session
2 February 2, 1978 at the hour of 12:00 in the Board of Works Room in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. President Pro-Tem Kenneth Paust presided with the
4 following members present: Messrs, Carter, Elstro, Mills, Welch, and Williams.
5 Absent: Messrs, Ahaus, Austerman, and Merchanthouse. The following business
6 was had, to-wit:

8 President Pro-Tem Paust announced the purpose of this special meeting is to
9 consider a Resolution to appoint an applicant agent to represent the City
10 in the emergency snow removal program. The application is to get funds to pay part of
11 the costs for snow removal.

13 City Attorney Ed Anderson stated the Governor's representative, Milton Milnick
14 who is State Civil Defense Director, is coordinating this for the State.

16 Mayor Clifford Dickman stated the maximum we can receive is $25,000.

18 Councilman Mills moved to suspend the rules and read Resolution No. 4-1978
19 by title only, seconded by Councilman Carter and on unanimous voice vote the
20 motion was carried.

22 The Clerk read by title only Resolution No. 4-1978 - A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT
23 AN APPLICANT'-AGENT TO REPRESENT THE CITY IN THE EMERGENCY SNOW REMOVAL PROGRAM.

25 Councilman Carter moved for adoption of Resolution No. 4-1978, seconded by
26 Councilman Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

28 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the
29 meeting was: adjourned.
