MEETING MINUTES
JULY 13, 2011

Meeting came to order at 8:00 a.m. the minutes were approved.
ELECTROfVIC RECORDKEEPING/DOCUMEIVT IMAGIiVG DISCUSSION
Bob Scrivner discussed the benefits of the city using an electronic recordkeeping/document
imaging system over the current system. It would allow the city to handle less paper
documents and allow all city employees and citizens to access all public records instantly. The
city wouid need a universal policy about which documents would be saved and for how long.
Bill Betts discussed the need to change the mindset of city employee in order for them to be
ready to move to an electronic system. Bill Betts was going to do research about electronic
recordkeeping and report his findings at the next meeting.
APPOINTMENTS REVIEW
The committee forwarded to the full Council the following appointments: MSP- Reappoint
Michael Barry, Gene Bushman, Bob lones; Firefighters Retirement Board- Bill Swartz.
OTHER BUSINESS
The committee decided to continue to meet on the second Wednesday of each month. The
next meeting was set for Wednesday, August 10 at 8:00 a.m.
