PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, AUGUST 16, 1976
111 1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in
2 regular session August 16, 1976 at the hour of 7: 30 P.M. in the
3 Council Chambers in the Municipal Building in said City. Presi-
4 dent Mills presided with the following members present: Messrs.
5 - Ahaus, Austerman, Carter, Cornett, Elstro, Merchanthouse, Paust
6 and Williams. Absent: None. The following business was had,
7 to-wit:

9 Councilman Elstro led devotions.

11 Councilman Williams moved to approve the minutes of the last
12 regular meeting, seconded by Councilman Paust and on unanimous
13 voice vote the motion was carried.

15 The Clerk read Resolution No. 18-1976 - A RESOLUTION REGARDING
16 CONVEYANCE OF FIREHOUSE NO. 4 IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.

18 . Councilman Carter moved to approve Resolution No. 18-1976 ,
19 seconded by Councilman Paust and on unanimous voice vote the
20 motion was carried.

22 Councilman Paust requested Mr. Webb, City Engineer, set up a
23 meeting to discuss the skywalks under construction , the problems
24 finishing up this project and the heating and cooling• problems
25 with them. .

27 Councilman Ahaus reported the Computer Task Force Committee will
28 be meeting this week and will present a preliminary, report to
29 Counci-l --at-thei•_r first meeting in September.

31 ' Councilman Merchanthouse moved to suspend the rules and read on
32 first- .reading by title only Ordinance No. 3124-1976, seconded
33 by Councilman Paust and on unanimous voice vote the motion was
34 carried.
