PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND , INDIANA , OCTOBER 6 , 1975
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular
2 session October 6, 1975 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers
3 in the Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Merchanthouse presided
4 with the following members present: Messrs. Brown, Cornett, Elstro,
5 Geier, Hilton, Marino, Mills, and Williams. Absent: None. The following
6 business was had to-wit:

8 Councilman Williams moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting,
9 seconded by Councilman Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was
10 carried.

12 The Clerk read on first reading by title only Ordinance No. 3024-1975 -
13 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2823-1973, WHICH ALLOWED A "SPECIAL
14 USE" FOR RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT IN AS R-2 SINGLE-FAMILY
15 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, ADOPTED ON NOV. 5, 1973.

17 Ordinance No. 3024-1975 was referred to the Plan Commission for study
18 and recommendation.

20 The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 3022-1975 - AN ORDINANCE
21 TO PROHIBIT THE FOLLOWING OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES.

23 Councilman Brown moved for engrossment of Ordinance No. 3022-1975 , seconded
24 by Councilman Cornett and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

26 Councilman Brown moved for suspension of the rules and read Ordinance No.
27 3022-1975, seconded by Councilman Hilton and on unanimous voice vote
28 the motion was carried on third reading by title only.

30 The Clerk read on third reading by title only Ordinance No. 3022-1975.

32 Ordinance No. 3022-1975 was placed on final passage or rejection and on
33 a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes; Brown, Cornett,
34 Elstro, Geier, Hilton, Marino, Mills, Williams and Merchanthouse. Noes;
35 None. The vote being nine (9) to zero (0) in favor of :passage of
36 Ordinance No. 3022-1975. .

38 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed,
39 the meeting was adjourned.
