CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, MAY 5, 1975
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular
2 session May 5, 1975 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers
3 in the Municipal Building of said City. President Merchanthouse
4 presided with the following members present: Messrs. Brown, Cornett,
5 Elstro, Geier, Hilton, Marino, Mills and Williams. Absent: None.
6 The following business was had to-wit:

8 Councilman Williams moved to approve the minutes of the previous
9 meeting, seconded by Councilman Mills and on unanimous voice vote
10 the motion was carried.

12 The Clerk read Resolution No. 7-1975 - A RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER WITH-
13 IN THE CITY CLERK' S BUDGET THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00)
14 FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-21-212) POSTAGE TO "SERVICES CONTRAC-
15 TUAL" (2-21-213) TRAVELING EXPENSES.

17 Councilman Geier moved for adoption of Resolution No. 7-1975, seconded
18 by Councilman Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

20 Councilman Elstro moved for suspension of the rules and read Ordinance
21 No. 2997-1975 by title only on first reading, seconded by Councilman
22 Williams and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

24 The Clerk read by title only on first reading Ordinance No. 2997-1975-
25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
26 ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3,
27 1968.

43 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION
44 AND FINANCING OF INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES, THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF
45 REVENUE BONDS TO PAY THE COST THEREOF, AND THE LEASING OF SUCH FACILITIES
46 TO HOFFCO, INC. , AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.

29 Plan Commission voted five to one to recommend approval of the amendment.

32 seconded by Councilman Williams and on unanimous voice vote the motion

19 amendment.

44 to be in order.

46 Councilman Geier moved to accept and file proof of publication, seconded
47 by Councilman Hilton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

50 seconded by Councilman Elstro and on unanimous voice vote the motion
51 was carried.
