THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, DECEMBER 30,2002
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m. Monday,
December 30, 2002, in the Community Room in the Municipal Building. Chairperson Bob Goodwin
presided with Robin Henry, Bruce Metzger and City Attorney Bob Bever in attendance. The following
business was conducted:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Henry moved to approve the minutes of December 12, 2002 and December 19, 2002, second by Metzger
and the motion was carried on a voice vote.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Henry presented claims from the Finance Department for$352,770.49 and made a motion to accept,
second by Metzger and the motion was carried on a voice vote.
AGREEMENT
A. Bever presented an agreement to hire a person to update the City Code Book at a rate of$15
per hour not to exceed $1,500. Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion
was carried on a voice vote.
B. Bever presented another agreement to hire Steve Rabe for a month to help finish projects
that had been started and need to be finalized, and said the City could pay him $3,000 for the
month of January. Metzger moved to approve the agreement for legal services,-second by
Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice
vote, the meeting was adjourned.
