THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JULY 25,2002
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m.Thursday, July 25,
2002, in the Community Room in the Municipal Building. Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided with Bruce
Metzger, Robin Henry and Assistant City Attorney Steve Rabe in attendance. The following business
was conducted:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Metzger made a motion to approve the minutes of July 18, 2002, second by Henry and the motion was
carried on a voice vote.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Henry presented claims from the Finance Department for$118,916.08 and made a motion to accept,
second by Metzger and the motion was carried on a voice vote.
BID OPENINGS
A. The following bids were opened for the demolition of the Police Garage: Mike Delucio &
Son, $12,000 and Reynolds Service Tech, Inc. $14,500. Wayne Jackson of the
Inspection Department reviewed the bids and requested the bid be awarded to Mike
Delucio Inc.for$12,000. Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion
was carried on a voice vote.
B. One bid was received for roof replacement at Fire Station#4 and that was from
Goodhaus, Ridgeville, IN for$58,500. This bid will be reviewed and awarded at a later
date.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice
vote, the meeting was adjourned.
