AND SAFETY OFTHE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APRIL 8, 2002
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 4 p.m. Monday,
April 8, 2002, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building. Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided with
Robin Henry and City Attorney Bob Bever in attendance. Bruce Metzger was absent. The following
business was conducted:
MIDWEST INDUSTRIAL PARK LOT#12
City Attorney Bob Bever explained Lot#12 in the Midwest Industrial Park has had potential problems with
the ground not being solid enough for the construction of buildings. Bever explained that this board, at a
previous meeting, had agreed to a reduction of price in order to stabilize the ground in that area. The
buyers had discovered that it would take longer to repair Lot#12, and now they are asking for a price
reduction of$215,000 for Lot#9, since that is ready to build on and the buyers have to have the building
up by November 1, 2002. Henry moved to approve, second by Goodwin and the motion was carried on a
voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice
vote, the meeting was adjourned.
