Finance Director Sherry Carter presented a delinquent Food and Beverage Tax issue with Bradiggins Arts and Crafts. She explained that Ms. Liggins is Delinquent for November and December of2002. Since Ms. Liggins has not turned in any reports, the Town has no way of knowing how much tax is owed. There are also delinquent fees and taxes owed on the King Street Coffee Shop, which her husband owned. By consensus, the Board directed the Town Attorney to investigate the possibility of making it hard for them to open another business in Town until these fines were paid. By consensus, the Board agreed to drop this issue. 2. Town Manager Peterson updated the Board on the tree that the Town had removed from the right of way in error during the Dangerous Tree Assessment.
