THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, AUGUST 16, 2001
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m.
Thursday, August 16, 2001, in the Community Room in the Municipal Building.
Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided with Robin Henry, Bruce Metzger, and Assistant
City Attorney Steve Rabe present. The following business was conducted:
MINUTES FOR AUGUST 9, 2001
Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice
vote.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Henry presented claims from the Finance Department in the amount of$592,878.57
and moved for approval, second by Metzger and the motion was carried on a voice vote
CURB CUTS
A. Rabe explained the curb cut on the dead end of S.W. 19th Street, which was held
over from last week's meeting. He said that the property lines have been
established and the suggestion was to make the curb cut as far to the east of the
drive that is possible. Both Paul Jordan and Portia Warren, who were in attendance
and are the parties involved, agreed to this proposal. Metzger moved to approve,
second by Henry and the motion was carried on a vice vote.
B. Goodwin requested a curb cut at 3600 Industries Road for Delta Entertainment and
said all departments had approved. Henry moved to approve with the stipulation
that they follow city specifications, second by Metzger and the motion was carried on
a voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and
carried on a voice vote, the meeting was adjourned.
