1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Clift called the Public Safety Commission meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL

EXCUSED: Commissioner — None
ALSO PRESENT: Public Safety Officer Ariizumi, Secretary Corrigan

Commissioner Shen led those present in the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.

by Commissioner Baudendistel and unanimously carried.

11. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
Public Safety Officer Bryan Ariizumi reminded the Commission about the Traffic
Calming Workshop on Thursday, November 10th at 7 pm at the Temple City
Historical Society Hall.

Commission Baudendistel asked if the radar trailer had been placed on Olive
Street. Public Safety Officer Ariizumi informed the Commission that the
radar trailer has been deployed at various locations on Olive St. between
Temple City Blvd. and Baldwin Ave.
B. COMMISSIONER SHEN
Commissioner Shen had concerns about citations that are issued for parking
on the City's public right -of -way and recommended community outreach
regarding parking violations.
Commission Shen stated that she attended the California Public Parking
Association (CPPA) conference and that it was very interesting.
C. COMMISSIONER STRATIS
Commission Stratis stated that he attended the CPPA conference in
Oakland, CA and that it was very informative.
D. VICE CHAIRMAN NIMRI
Vice Chairman Nimri stated that he attended the CPPA conference and that
it was very interesting and educational.
Vice Chairman Nimri stated that he attended the Youth Committee 'Meeting
last week.
Vice Chairman Nimri asked about the Public Safety Commission meeting
minutes being added to the City's website. Public Safety Officer Ariizumi
informed the Commission that the minutes will be added to the website after
they have been approved by the Commission.
E. CHAIRMAN CLIFT
Chairman Clift stated the he is attending the Community Emergency
Response Team (CERT) training that is being provided by the City.

Chairman Clift adjourned the Public Safety Commission meeting at 10:28 p.m.
