EXTRAORDINARY UNSPECIFIED CONTRACT
FOR AIR TESTING
WHEREAS, there exists a need for services to provide on-site services, post-
sampling and reporting in connection with air quality testing performed on the
Borough Hall; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to NJ.SA 40A:11-5 et seq extraordinary unspecified
services are exempt from the requirements of competitive bidding; and
WHEREAS, the Local Finance Officer has certified that funds are available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret does hereby approve the appointment of Tiffany-Bader
Environmental, Inc at a maximum cost not to exceed $2,090.00 billable as per
attached proposal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this contract is awarded without competitive
bids in accordance with NJ. SA. 40A: 11-5 et seq.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a notice of this action shall be published in The
Home News Tribune on May 11, 1999.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 7, 1999.
