ORDINANCE NO. 13-2021
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE SUBMITTAL,ACCEPTANCE,AND APPROPRIATION
OF A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, In accordance with Indiana Code (IC) 36-1-4-10, a municipality may execute
any documents necessary to receive money from the state or federal government
or any'other source, and said documents are prepared and executed by the City
executive administration, provided that the Common Council of the City of
Richmond as the legislative body of the City approves an ordinance for the
appropriation of any monies received in accordance with IC 36-4-6-18; and
WHEREAS, The Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") has grant funding available
through Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations
Act("CRRSA")Allocation; and
WHEREAS, The City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to obtain funding
for costs associated with operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitation, janitorial
services, combating the spread of pathogens at the airport, and debt service
payments,for the Richmond Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, No local match is required.
NOW, THEREFORE,be it ordained by.the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana,as follows:
1. The City of Richmond, in accordance with IC 36-1-4-10, has submitted or will
submit a grant application to the Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") for the funding of
costs associated with operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitation,janitorial services, combating
the spread of pathogens at the airport, and debt service payments for the Richmond Municipal
Airport.
2. The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to
Thirteen Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents($13,000.00).

3. All grant funding, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to help
funding of costs associated with operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitation,janitorial services,
combating the spread of pathogens at the airport, and debt service payments for the Richmond
Municipal Airport.

the City of Richmond, Indiana.
