RESOLUTION NO. 2023-09-02
A RESOLUTION DENYING A VARIANCE REQUEST TO SECTION 19-2-250 TABLE 2.8 TO
INCREASE THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT FROM FORTY-FIVE (45) FEET TO FIFTY-FIVE (55)
FEET FOR A PARCEL LOCATED WITHIN THE BUSINESS (B) ZONE DISTRICT LEGALLY
DESCRIBED AS MEYER SUBDIVISION LOT 2, TOWN OF FRASER, COUNTY OF GRAND,
STATE OF COLORADO, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 8.32 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
WHEREAS, on September 27, 2023 the Board of Adjustment reviewed a proposed
variance request for the above described parcel in accordance with Section 19-1-330 of the
Fraser Land Development Code; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment may grant a variance only to the extent it finds
certain conditions, where relevant to the subject property and adjacent neighborhood or district
are present; and
WHEREAS, the Board found, based on the findings and rationale presented in the Staff
Report, the variance request does not meet the conditions necessary for granting a variance;
and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Fraser Board of Adjustments has voted
to DENY this variance request.
DULY MOVED, SECONDED AND APPROVED THIS 27TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2023.
