re: 2022 COMMON COUNCIL, RICHMOND POWER AND LIGHT &
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MEETING SCHEDULE
The Richmond Common Council will meet at 7:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Monday of
each month during 2022 with the following exceptions:
January 18 in lieu of January 17 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
February 22 in lieu of February 21 - President’s Day
June 21 in lieu of June 20 – Juneteenth
July 5 in lieu of July 4 – Independence Day
September 6 in lieu of September 5– Labor Day
Richmond Power & Light Board will meet immediately following Common Council on
the 3rd Monday with the following exceptions:
January 18 in lieu of January 17 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
June 21 in lieu of June 20 – Juneteenth
The changes are due to holidays and the meetings for all exceptions are the Tuesday
Immediately following the regularly scheduled meeting.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will continue to meet on Thursday, 5:00 pm.
Changes in meeting dates and/or times will be noticed as necessary.
All meetings are held in the Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal
Building at 50 North 5th Street.
