A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE CITY HALL ANNEX AND COUNCIL
CHAMBER PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.905, PURSUANT TO SECTION
6- 3.73(G) OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE AND AUTHORIZE STAFF
TO PREPARE AN ANALYSIS OF PROJECT OPTIONS AND REPORT TO THE
CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopted the plans,
specifications and working details for the New City Hall /Council Chambers
Building Improvement Project on August 21, 2012; and
WHEREAS, twelve pre - qualified contractors received project plans and
contract documents; and
WHEREAS, the bids opening took place in the Office of the City Clerk on
April 4, 2013, and five contractors submitted bids; and
WHEREAS, project options and funding alternatives would need to be
identified and presented to the City Council for consideration at a later date.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood rejects all bids
received for the New City Hall and Council Chambers Building Improvement
Project, Project No. 4011.67.905. and authorizes staff to prepare an analysis of
project options and report to City Council.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
